About Morgan County Court Docket

Morgan County court records are divided among several custodians. The Circuit Clerk maintains Circuit and Family Court files, the Magistrate Court Clerk holds lower-court records, and municipal offices handle their own citations. This private resource organizes those official routes so readers can identify the proper portal, counter, address, or telephone number before making a request.

Why We Built This Site

West Virginia provides public access to many court dockets, but it does not place every Morgan County matter in one database. WVPASS covers public Circuit Court records, while MCRSearch serves Magistrate Court cases. The Morgan County Circuit Clerk and Magistrate Court Clerk remain the source for official copies. Bath and Paw Paw keep separate municipal routes. We bring the verified contacts, search systems, case codes, and request steps together while keeping those jurisdictions distinct.

What You Will Find Here

  • Docket guides: how criminal dockets and civil dockets are searched and read in Morgan County
  • Court dates and settings: how to read the court calendar and confirm a hearing date or setting
  • Case lookups: how to run a case search by party name or case number through the statewide portal
  • Record requests: how court records and certified copies are requested from the clerk of court

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site with no connection to a West Virginia court, clerk, or government agency. Its role has clear limits:

  • We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
  • We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
  • We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
  • We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
  • We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
  • We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now

Only the custodian of the original file can issue an official or certified copy. For Circuit and Family cases, that is usually the Morgan County Circuit Clerk. Magistrate documents come from the Morgan County Magistrate Court Clerk.

Search Partners

Outside providers power search boxes on some pages. Each provider controls its service, results, and prices. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may produce a referral fee that supports the site. We do not determine the provider's charges or the content of its results.
